Ranked League adalah mode kompetitif baru pada Apex Legends Season 2 yang dihadirkan dalam bentuk ranking atau peringkat. Mode ini akan menguji skill kamu untuk terus mendapatkan peringkat teratas hingga mencapai ranking tertinggi, Apex Predator.

Respawn Entertainment selaku developer mendedikasikan khusus Ranked League kepada para pemain yang bermain Apex Legends dalam waktu yang lama sebagai bentuk reward. Setiap kali kamu berhasil mencapai ranking tertentu di akhir musim, kamu akan mendapatkan hadiah berupa skin, emote, banner, dan lainnya.
Matchmaking di Ranked League juga mengatur pemain untuk mendapatkan lawan dengan skill yang sama. Tetapi yang perlu diperhatikan, kamu tidak akan selalu bermain melawan pemain dari peringkat yang sama. Misalnya, pemain dengan ranking Silver bisa saja tetap bersaing dengan pemain ranking Gold.

Season baru menandakan bergulirnya Series
Series adalah sebutan untuk durasi season selama kompetisi. Ketika season berakhir maka series untuk mode kompetitif akan di-reset sehingga kamu akan memulai ranking dari awal di season berikutnya. Kamu akan mendapatkan reward sesuai dengan ranking terakhir.
Yang perlu diperhatikan, Ranked League ini membutuhkan level 10 atau lebih tinggi untuk bergabung. Ketika kamu bermain dengan temanmu, matchmaking akan mencarikan lawan sesuai dengan pemain yang memiliki ranking tertinggi di lobby. Tetapi reward untuk setiap pemain akan disesuaikan dengan ranking mereka masing-masing.
Ranking sebagai penentu tingkatan level
Ranked Leagues memiliki enam jenis ranking: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, dan Apex Predator. Semua ranking kecuali Apex Predator memiliki empat level; Gold IV, Gold III, Gold II, dan Gold I. Gold I akan menjadi level teratas di ranking Gold.
Semua pemain akan memulai dari Bronze IV. Untuk menaikkan level atau ranking, kamu harus mengumpulkan skor tertentu. Saat ini, tidak ada sistem penurunan pangkat untuk bagian ranking. Misal, kamu telah mencapai ranking Platinum di level Platinum IV, kamu tidak akan turun ranking ke Gold ketika kalah.
Tetapi, sistem penurunan pangkat ini berlaku untuk per level. Misal, dari Gold I, kamu beberapa kali kalah sehingga kamu akan turun menjadi Gold II.
Setiap pertandingan akan menjadi semakin sulit ketika kamu memiliki level yang semakin tinggi. Jadi, bersiaplah!
Cara kerja sistem scoring Rank Point
Rank Poin (RP) adalah poin yang dihasilkan saat memainkan Ranked League. Poin ini diberikan kepada pemain setelah mereka berhasil menyelesaikan beberapa goal tertentu.

Selama pertandingan, maksimal RP yang didapatkan untuk kill adalah 5RP. Setiap skor bersifat unik. Misal, jika kamu mendapatkan Top 5, kamu tidak akan mendapatkan 6RP untuk Top 10 dan Top 5. Skor maksimum yang bisa didapatkan per pertandingan adalah 17RP.

Reward dan penalties
Di akhir musim, Apex Legends akan memberikan reward kepada pemain berupa bagde atau lencana berdasarkan ranking atau level yang telah mereka selesaikan. Apex Legends kini juga akan lebih ketat dengan pemain yang memiliki kebisaan pergi sebelum pertandingan berakhir. Hukuman ini akan melarang pemain bergabung dalam pertandingan mulai dari 5 menit hingga satu minggu.

Mirip dengan Elite, akan ada loss forgiveness. Sistem ini akan menghilangkan potensi kerugian RP untuk suatu pertandingan. Misalnya, kamu bermain dengan status Diamond dan berakhir di posisi terakhir tetapi hanya memiliki dua kill, kamu akan mendapatkan -2 RP (-4 untuk biaya Diamond, +2 untuk membunuh sehingga total -2 ).
Namun, dengan loss forgiveness, RP akan kembali ke 0. Ini hanya berlaku jika kamu benar-benar kehilangan RP dalam pertandingan. Jika kamu memiliki lima kill dan loss forgiveness, RP yang didapatkan tetap +1. Kamu juga akan diberikan loss forgiveness ketika rekan setim meninggalkan permainan dan kesalahan teknis.
